Radium Girls

Radium Girls was staged in our blackbox space as a thrust stage. I wanted to play with the idea of how we often overlook people in our quest for "the greater good". I decided to go with a steam punk theme to highlight how the victims of radiation poisoning were viewed simply as cogs in a machine rather than human beings. We splattered the whole theatre with glow in the dark paint to bring the audience into the world of the show and make them consider how they may be affecting the lives of others through complacent consumerism.
