Anastasia

This musical was one of my favorites to direct and choreograph.  It featured a large array of dance styles from Russian folk to ballet to 1920s jazz.  Students learned about individual characterization and ensemble work as we worked together to stage this new musical about the importance of learning from the past and looking to the future.  This theme was especially appropriate as we were just coming out of the Covid shutdowns when when this musical performed and rebuilding our theatre program.
