Henry V
Henry V
Our production of Shakespeare's Henry V was inspired by Brechtian theatre techniques. The performance began with students entering in modern day black clothing and gradually transitioning their costumes and the stage into 15th century Europe in front of the audience's eyes. By doing so, we hoped to make the audience a part of the show as they answered Shakespeare's call "For 'tis your thoughts that now must deck our kings." It also featured complex stage combat, French dialogue and a unique turntable stage built by students.
