This was the first musical I directed at Syracuse High School.  There are many iterations of the Cinderella script but I choose to go with the Broadway revival script because I liked how it highlighted themes of agency and and actively pursuing your dreams by making both Cinderella and the Prince more fleshed out and well rounded characters. The actors, designers and I enjoyed staging this musical with its lush dance numbers, special effects and classic melodies.
